Are you trusting God to do it His way?
You may be thinking of a certain way that you expect God to deliver you, but He may send His deliverance in an unconventional way. Do not be afraid. Be open to God’s will, and trust Him to deliver you in whatever way He chooses to do so.
Sometimes situations in your life may be so intense that you may become afraid. You may fear what might happen or what might go wrong. Will God send a blessing or give deliverance? David said to the Lord in Psalm 56:3, “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.” You can be free of fear when you trust in the Lord.
Replace your fears with faith in the Word of God. Believe that God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. When you trust Him and walk by faith, He will fight for you, and you will have no reason to be afraid. Give the Lord the situation you are facing, and He will give you the courage to endure the storm.
The storms of my life are raging,
And the winds are very strong,
My heart is growing fearful,
But I am trying to hold on.
My soul is deeply troubled,
And I do not know what to do,
But every time I am afraid,
Lord, I will trust in you.
