Ruth was a young, impoverished widow who traveled to Bethlehem from Moab with her mother-in-law, Naomi. She eventually married one of Naomi’s wealthy relatives named Boaz. Afterwards, she was no longer a poor widow, but an affluent wife. God brought about events in her life that changed the world. Through her lineage, King David and Jesus Christ were born.
Trouble is inevitable in life. Jesus said in John 16:33 (NIV), “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” In spite of the trouble, God has a plan to bless you. Allow Him to use your difficult situation to transform your life.
We may experience hurt and pain,
But God knows how to bless us again,
And give us a life that He lovingly fills,
With blessings according to His holy will.
