It’s Time for a New Beginning!

Are you apprehensive about your future, and feel like you cannot go on from here? Be encouraged because you can begin again. In fact, it is time to begin again right now. Regardless of your past situation, God loves you very much and He has an extraordinary plan for your life. You can begin again and experience the joyous and abundant life He has planned for you.

You might be saying to yourself, “What’s the use of beginning again?” Well, beginning again has many benefits. Caleb’s life is a wonderful example of the advantages of beginning again. Despite wandering in the wilderness for forty years because the other Israelites would not believe God, Caleb made the best of an adverse situation. He had many opportunities to give up and quit, but he did not. He embraced the opportunity to begin again. God finally blessed him to come into a new beginning in the Promise Land after spending forty years in the wilderness.

In spite of the storm you have endured, decide to begin again today. Even when the odds are stacked high against you, God wants to do a new thing in your life. With your determination and God’s help, you can begin again. Ask God to help you begin again today!

Begin Again

Behold, I will do a new thing.

Isaiah 43:19

Are you feeling hopeless and in despair?

Do you feel as if God does not care?

Lift your head up and don’t be sad,

Things could never be that bad,

When Jesus Christ lives inside you,

Nothing is impossible for you to do!

You must rise up and begin again,

No matter how dark your past has been,

You can have true victory,

Over the schemes of the enemy,

And rise above the hurt and pain,

So decide today to begin again.

Decide in your heart to begin today,

And let Jesus Christ show you the way.

It’s Not Over

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us.
Ephesians 3:20

The Shunammite woman and her husband were very generous and showed kindness to the prophet, Elisha. Although she was a wealthy woman, she was childless. In  2 Kings 4:16, Elisha called her one day and told her that she would have a son. She had a son the following year, just as Elisha had said. Some years later, the boy died suddenly, but she rushed to Elisha and he miraculously revived him.

You may need or desire something that money cannot buy. Only God knows about the secret desires of your heart, and the things you really want. Be generous in giving God your time, money, talents, and other resources. Then watch Him give you the things that money cannot buy.

No need to worry and begin to fret,
But believe that it’s not over yet.

Forgetting

The second son he named Ephraim and said,
“It is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”
Genesis 41:52 (NIV)

Joseph named his first son Manasseh, which means, forgetting. He said that God had made up to him all the anguish that he had suffered and the loss of his father’s house. Then Joseph named his second son Ephraim, because he said, “God has made me fruitful in this land of my grief.” The land that was the source of his greatest pain and misery was now the place that God was using to bless him and make him a powerful administrator.

Can God possibly use the very thing that was your greatest source of pain and suffering to bless you in your new beginning? Yes, He can. With God all things are possible! Allow Him to show you how you can turn your pain into your divine purpose.

For the Bible says that you can do,
All things through Christ who strengthens you.

All You Need

In II Kings 8, the Shunammite woman and her husband blessed the prophet, Elisha. God, in return, blessed them not only with a son, but also in settling a great legal matter.  In similar ways, God will supply your needs when you walk according to His Word and use wisely the resources He gives you.

Regardless of what your needs are, Ephesians 3:20 says, God “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.” Trust Him to provide all that you need today.

He will supply all that I need,
When I trust Him and believe.

Praise God

We should praise God for His goodness and for the blessings that He has given us. We should also praise Him because He is God, the creator of the entire universe.

In Psalm 150, David wrote about the many different ways in which we can praise God. We can praise God with words of honor and devotion, in a song, on an instrument, or even in a dance. Find a way to praise God and demonstrate the love, trust, and reverence that you have in your heart for Him today.

Problems will come in so many ways,
But don’t let them stop or hinder your praise.

Your Help

When Hagar had nowhere to go and no one to turn to for help, God sent her help in a miraculous way. He said in Isaiah 54:5 (NLT), “For your Creator will be your husband.” God can take care of a mother when she puts her trust in Him.

If you have nowhere to go and no one to turn to for help, ask God to send you help in a miraculous way. As a child of God Almighty, you can boldly approach the throne of grace and cast your cares upon Him. He will help you when you put your trust in Him.

Don’t be discouraged, but understand,
That no one can love you like God can.
