The second son he named Ephraim and said,
“It is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”
Genesis 41:52 (NIV)

Joseph named his first son Manasseh, which means, forgetting. He said that God had made up to him all the anguish that he had suffered and the loss of his father’s house. Then Joseph named his second son Ephraim, because he said, “God has made me fruitful in this land of my grief.” The land that was the source of his greatest pain and misery was now the place that God was using to bless him and make him a powerful administrator.

Can God possibly use the very thing that was your greatest source of pain and suffering to bless you in your new beginning? Yes, He can. With God all things are possible! Allow Him to show you how you can turn your pain into your divine purpose.

For the Bible says that you can do,
All things through Christ who strengthens you.
