It’s Time for a New Beginning!

Are you apprehensive about your future, and feel like you cannot go on from here? Be encouraged because you can begin again. In fact, it is time to begin again right now. Regardless of your past situation, God loves you very much and He has an extraordinary plan for your life. You can begin again and experience the joyous and abundant life He has planned for you.

You might be saying to yourself, “What’s the use of beginning again?” Well, beginning again has many benefits. Caleb’s life is a wonderful example of the advantages of beginning again. Despite wandering in the wilderness for forty years because the other Israelites would not believe God, Caleb made the best of an adverse situation. He had many opportunities to give up and quit, but he did not. He embraced the opportunity to begin again. God finally blessed him to come into a new beginning in the Promise Land after spending forty years in the wilderness.

In spite of the storm you have endured, decide to begin again today. Even when the odds are stacked high against you, God wants to do a new thing in your life. With your determination and God’s help, you can begin again. Ask God to help you begin again today!

Begin Again

Behold, I will do a new thing.

Isaiah 43:19

Are you feeling hopeless and in despair?

Do you feel as if God does not care?

Lift your head up and don’t be sad,

Things could never be that bad,

When Jesus Christ lives inside you,

Nothing is impossible for you to do!

You must rise up and begin again,

No matter how dark your past has been,

You can have true victory,

Over the schemes of the enemy,

And rise above the hurt and pain,

So decide today to begin again.

Decide in your heart to begin today,

And let Jesus Christ show you the way.

Forgetting

The second son he named Ephraim and said,
“It is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”
Genesis 41:52 (NIV)

Joseph named his first son Manasseh, which means, forgetting. He said that God had made up to him all the anguish that he had suffered and the loss of his father’s house. Then Joseph named his second son Ephraim, because he said, “God has made me fruitful in this land of my grief.” The land that was the source of his greatest pain and misery was now the place that God was using to bless him and make him a powerful administrator.

Can God possibly use the very thing that was your greatest source of pain and suffering to bless you in your new beginning? Yes, He can. With God all things are possible! Allow Him to show you how you can turn your pain into your divine purpose.

For the Bible says that you can do,
All things through Christ who strengthens you.

Walk by Faith

When we read about how the disciples walked with Jesus, it is hard to imagine them ever being fearful or faithless. They saw Jesus’ many miracles and heard His awesome teachings on a daily basis. Yet, at times, Jesus had to remind them of their little faith.

Sometimes you will have to walk by faith, even when you cannot see how something could possibly happen. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” As you walk into your new beginning, believe that God is planning His best for you, even when you cannot see it. Go forward in faith, knowing that He will give you victory in the problems that you face as you begin again.

And trust God to make everything alright,
When you walk by faith and not by sight.

Your Past Victories

David’s brothers and others did not believe he could defeat Goliath, the giant. However, they were not in the field when he killed a lion and a bear. Only he and God knew that his past victories had prepared him to defeat the giant.

Surely, God has done something for you in the past that now gives you confidence to trust Him for the battle you are facing today. Maybe only you and God really know about the past victories that have prepared you to defeat the giant that you are facing today. Stand firm on your relationship with Him, and remember your past victories until you emerge as a victor in the battle you face today.

David took the challenge against all odds,
And put his fate in the hands of God,
The giant was big, but David didn’t care,
For he had killed a lion and a bear.
